This made in the USA kit contains all the parts you need to convert your Mustang, Fairlane, Falcon, Torino, Comet, Cougar, or Ranchero with automatic or manual transmission from drum to disc brakes.  Kelsey Hayes style Shelby / GT calipers, brackets, and splash shields are made from the original FORD prints and 100% made in the USA.  Manufactured from quality materials, this SSBC-USA kit is designed to ensure high-performance and dependability.   • Bolts to V8 or 6-cylinder drum brake spindles. Converts to 5-lug wheel
  • Kelsey Hayes original GT style 4-piston cast iron calipers
  • Stainless steel pistons, transfer tubes, bleeders and pad retaining clips
  • Contains square cut pressure seal, and factory style dust boot
  • Calipers come with a black E-coat finish
  • Dual bowl master cylinder (non-power) for front disc brakes
  • Two 11.25” diameter heavy duty vented rotors
  • Semi-metallic brake pads- D11
  • Adjustable proportioning valve
  • Includes Mounting Hardware, DOT Flex Hoses, splash shields, and backing plates
  • Simple instructions for bolt-on installation
  • Optional rotor upgrades (slotted, cross-drilled, plated) available
  • NOTE: Most 6 cylinder cars have a 4 x 4.5 in. bolt pattern - this kit will convert the front only to a 5 x 4.5 in. bolt pattern.
  • NOTE: Master cylinder will NOT bolt to stock booster on vehicles with O.E. power drum brakes.

The A121 Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit by Stainless Steel Brakes includes everything you need to upgrade your drum brakes to the reliability and performance of a modern disc brake system.

This kit will work on Mustang, Fairlane, Falcon, Torino, Comet, Cougar or Ranchero with V8 engine and automatic or manual transmission. It can be used with most 15” wheels as well as with the factory-styled 14” x 7” steel wheels, and will install directly on a V8 spindle with no other modifications needed! The kit includes premium-quality E-coat calipers for ultimate corrosion resistance and stainless steel pistons and a single reservoir master cylinder.  Also included is an adjustable proportioning valve which is the best way to adjust front and rear brake bias for maximum stopping power.  You'll get better performance with a factory look.
