Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) Policy

SSBC-USA has a Minimum Advertised Pricing Policy (MAP) for all distributors and all SSBC-USA products to provide integrity and help support the SSBC-USA brand.

STANDARD POLICY

All SSBC-USA products have a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) established. Please refer to the current SSBC-USA price files for our current MAP pricing.

MAP applies to advertised prices of SSBC-USA products in any and all printed and electronic media.

MAP is not applicable to in-store advertising displayed only in the store and not distributed to any customer.

MAP applies to advertised prices only and does not apply to the price products are sold or offered for sale to an individual consumer within the distributor’s retail location or over the telephone.

MAP does not establish maximum advertised prices.

Internet auctions may not display or have reserved bid or other acceptable prices below the MAP price.

ENFORCEMENT

Intentional failure to abide by this policy may jeopardize any price level discounts and advertising co-op offered by SSBC-USA.
