Brake System & Fitment

Master-cylinder selection must match the vehicle’s complete brake-system configuration. Disc-brake systems can require different fluid capacity than drum-brake systems, and manual and power brake systems can use different bore and pushrod-depth characteristics. Confirm the vehicle and existing brake-system setup before ordering.

Bench Bleeding Required

Bench bleed the master cylinder in a vise before installation. Use clean brake fluid specified for the application, keep the return hoses submerged in the reservoir, and slowly stroke the piston until air bubbles are eliminated. Do not allow the reservoir to run dry, and bleed the complete brake system after installation.
