Brake System & Fitment

Master-cylinder selection must match the complete brake-system configuration. Manual and power brake systems can use different bore and pushrod-depth characteristics. Confirm the 1-inch bore, pushrod depth, ports and power-brake configuration before ordering.

Bench Bleeding Required

Bench bleed the master cylinder in a vise before installation. Use clean brake fluid specified for the application, keep the return hoses submerged in the reservoir, and slowly stroke the piston until air bubbles are eliminated. Do not allow the reservoir to run dry, and bleed the complete brake system after installation.
